Many dogs and cats are awaiting their forever homes. If you are looking to adopt or even buy a puppy please reach out to reputable rescues (do your homework beforehand) as so many are full to the brim and the outgoings rescues have are often higher than their income. 

Please be careful to not adopt from rescues that we call pop up rescues or from somebody that calls themselves a rescue but  are just a hoarder of dogs or cats in their own house making money by adoptions without proper assessments being done . 

A reputable rescue will put a dog in foster in preparation for adoption where a thorough assesement will be done to ensure placement in the correct home for you and for the said dog/cat  (this is more specific to dogs though ) . Homechecks should be done and also id/address verifications and generally a questionaire to ensure you will be the correct owner for adoption.  Some rescues such as dogs trust wil have dogs in kennels but have their own assessors at hand and do thorough checks . 

By buying online you are feeding greeder breeders  Please stop ! Dogs and cats that have been stolen have also been seen online . Dogs and cats in animal welfare issues are often sold online also . We need to encourage the public to stop buying online and ideally would like to see online sales BANNED .
